Based in Redditch, on the border of Worcestershire and Warwickshire, Rachel is an experienced McTimoney Animal Therapist and holds a Master of Science degree (MSc) in Animal Manipulation (passed with a distinction). Rachel is a member of the McTimoney Animal Association (MAA), British Complementary Medicine Association (BCMA), and is fully insured to treat your animal.

Rachel has also studied equine and canine massage completing an Advanced massage course. A combination of manipulation and massage provides a safe, highly effective and holistic treatment for musculoskeletal problems in animals.

Horses are one of Rachel's main interests and she owns a yard near Warwick. Rachel has several horses, a 4 year old WB, a 8 year old TBx and her retired first horse. Rachel is experienced in all aspects of horsecare and training and enjoys riding for pleasure as well as competing in Dressage and Showjumping. As well as treating horses Rachel visits a lot of dogs and has trained the family dogs in both obedience and agility.

Before working fulltime as a McTimoney Animal Therapist Rachel had a strong involvement in equine welfare and worked for the British Horse Society Welfare Department for 6 years. Rachel previously graduated from the University of the West of England (Hartpury College) with a BA (Hons) in Equine Business Management.

Areas Rachel covers -
Warwickshire, Worcestershire, West Midlands and surrounding counties. 
Clinics are also held in other areas on request, a minimum of 3 horses / dogs are
normally required for those further afield.

Rachel works closely with vets in the area and undertakes referal work for several equine practises. Please note an owner must always consult their veterinary surgeon before seeking McTimoney treatment, it is illegal for anyone to treat an animal without veterinary approval. This can usually be done very quickly over the telephone. Most vets are aware of the benefits of complementary therapy and will readily give permission for treatment by a qualified professional. Full. written treatment reports can be provided to your vet as required.

Protect your animals, please ensure you always use a qualified practitioner. Those qualified in McTimoney will hold either a MSc or PGdip in Animal Manipulation.
